LEAVE REQUEST Lifecycle

 

1 Leave Request
Employee completes the LEAVE REQUEST online.
2 Upload Evidence
Evidence can be uploaded against the LEAVE REQUEST.
3 Authorisation Process
Employee superior and HR needs to authorise or decline the LEAVE REQUEST.
4 Flag TAKEN
If the LEAVE REQUEST was approved and the employee went on the leave. The leave needs to be flagged as taken.
5 Various Reports
View reports associated with the LEAVE REQUEST.
6 Email Notifications
Employee, employee superior and HR receives an email of the LEAVE REQUEST.

LEAVE REQUEST Management

 

1 Delete
All LEAVE REQUESTS can be deleted from the list but not from the system.
2 Located
3 Leave Request
If you are unable to locate the LEAVE REQUEST, you can create a new LEAVE REQUEST.
4 Email Request
Once the LEAVE REQUEST form is completed the system will auto email the direct line manager and the hr contact.
5 Restore
Any deleted LEAVE REQUEST can be restored. The deleted LEAVE REQUEST can be found under the deleted entries list and be restored from there.
6 Leave Request
If you located the LEAVE REQUEST you should view the LEAVE REQUEST profile.
7 Employee
The EMPLOYEE first needs to be created.
8 Number
The LEAVE REQUEST will be auto numbered.
9 Leave Request
It is a good practise to search for the LEAVE REQUEST before attempting to create a new LEAVE REQUEST. This will prevent duplicated entries. LEAVE REQUESTS can be searched on the LEAVE REQUEST list.
10 Edit
The LEAVE REQUEST profile can be edited.
11 TAKEN
Indicate if the leave was taken.
12 Email TAKEN
When the LEAVE is taken the system will auto email the employee.
13 Document
A document can be uploaded to the LEAVE REQUEST.
14 Authorise
The LEAVE REQUEST can be approved or declined by the line manger or the hr contact.
15 Declined
16 Email Declined
When the LEAVE REQUEST is declined the system will auto email the employee.
17 Approved
18 Email Approved
When the LEAVE REQUEST is approved the system will auto email the employee.
19 RETURN
Indicate if the leave was not taken.
20 Email RETURN
When the LEAVE is not taken the system will auto email the employee.
