Working with DOWNLOADS in MYCITO*

The DOWNLOAD feature enables CITO* users to upload and publish downloadable media content on their domain. Usually used to make product and/or service offering documentation readily available to the general public.

 

 

 

MYCITO* DOWNLOAD Life Cycle

The following flow diagram illustrates the typical DOWNLOAD life cycle inside MYCITO*.

 

1 Download
Create and manage download.
2 Upload File
Upload file to the download.
3 Publish
Publish the download.
4 Create Email
Create an email for the download.
5 Move Download
Move download to a download group.
6 Various Reports
View reports associated with the download.

 

How To Create a Download

Use these steps to CREATE A DOWNLOAD.

  1. Open the option group DOWNLOADS & LINKS.
  2. Click on the option LIST DOWNLOADS.
  3. Open the NEW ENTRY form, complete the required fields and click SUBMIT.

How To Edit Download

Follow these steps to EDIT DOWNLOAD.

  1. Click in the search box and search the DOWNLOAD.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  3. Click the EDIT DOWNLOAD tool in the toolbar, make changes and click SUBMIT.

How To Upload a File

Follow these steps to UPLOAD A FILE.

  1. Click in the search box and search the DOWNLOAD.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  3. Click on the UPLOAD FILE tool in the toolbar and follow the steps.

How To Publish Download

Follow these steps to PUBLISH DOWNLOAD.

  1. Click in the search box and search the DOWNLOAD.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  3. Click on the PUBLISH DOWNLOAD tool in the toolbar.

How To Hide Download

Follow these steps to HIDE DOWNLOAD.

  1. Click in the search box and search the DOWNLOAD.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  3. Click on the HIDE DOWNLOAD tool in the toolbar.

How To Delete Download

Follow these steps to DELETE DOWNLOAD.

  1. Click in the search box and search the DOWNLOAD.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  3. Click on the DELETE DOWNLOAD tool in the toolbar.

How To Restore Download

Follow these steps to RESTORE DOWNLOAD.

  1. Open the option group DOWNLOADS & LINKS.
  2. Click the option LIST DOWNLOADS.
  3. Open the DELTED ENTRIES.
  4. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  5. Click on the RESTORE DOWNLOAD tool in the toolbar.

How To View Download View Report

Follow these steps to VIEW DOWNLOAD VIEW REPORT.

  1. Click in the search box and search the DOWNLOAD.
  2. Click on the magnifying glass to open the DOWNLOAD PROFILE.
  3. Click on the VIEW REPORT tool in the toolbar.
