The following flow diagram illustrates the typical QUOTE life cycle inside MYCITO*.

 

1 Create Quote
Create a new quote.
2 Add Items
Add quote items.
3 View Quote
Preview the quote in PDF format.
4 Mail Self
Email the quote to yourself to review the email template and quote.
5 Email Quote
Email the quote to the customer.
6 Accept /Decline
Flag the quote as accepted or declined.
7 Upload Quote
Upload the signed quote.
8 Generate Invoice
Convert the accepted quote into an Invoice.

 

How To Create a Quote

Follow these steps to CREATE A QUOTE.

  1. View the ACCOUNT PROFILE.
  2. Click on the EDIT QUOTES tool in the toolbar.
  3. Add a NEW ENTRY.

How To Add quote items

Follow these steps to ADD QUOTE ITEMS to the QUOTE.

  1. View the QUOTE.
  2. Click on the EDIT ITEMS tool in the toolbar.
  3. Add a NEW ENTRY.

How To Preview Quote

Follow these steps to VIEW THE QUOTE.

  1. View the QUOTE PROFILE.
  2. Click on the VIEW QUOTE tool in the toolbar.

How To Email the Quote to yourself

Follow these steps to EMAIL THE QUOTE to SELF.

  1. View the QUOTE PROFILE.
  2. Click on the MAIL SELF tool in the toolbar.

How To Email Quote to Customer

Follow these steps to EMAIL QUOTE to the CUSTOMER.

  1. View the QUOTE PROFILE.
  2. Click on the EMAIL QUOTE tool in the toolbar.
  3. Select and deselect notifiers and click SUBMIT.

How To Flag a Quote as accepted or declined

Follow these steps to flag a QUOTE as ACCEPTED OR DECLINED.

  1. View the QUOTE PROFILE.
  2. Click on the ACCEPT QUOTE or DECLINE QUOTE.

How To Upload a Quote

Follow these steps to UPLOAD a QUOTE.

  1. View the QUOTE PROFILE.
  2. Click on the UPLOAD QUOTE tool in the toolbar.
  3. Browse for the file and click SUBMIT.

How To Generate an Invoice

Follow these steps to GENERATE an INVOICE on an ACCEPTED QUOTE.

  1. View the QUOTE PROFILE.
  2. Click on the GENERATE INVOICE tool in the toolbar.
